Sail and Swan was started specifically with you in mind.

Our Wedding Stationery, and all of the items in our shop, are designed by us and we are always working on new ideas.

By using this website and making a purchase, you agree to our terms of use as set out below.

PAYMENT

Payment is appreciated at the time of purchase. For custom orders such as branding, logo designs and wedding stationery we require an initial deposit before we commence your designs. We accept Bank Transfers, PayPal and Credit Cards. Items are printed, packaged and shipped after the full payment has been received. Please note that sizes and prices on our website may change over time. Sail and Swan reserve the right to update pricing at any time and without prior notice. Pricing provided in Quotes will be honoured for 30 days. Please note that prices may be subject to change if amendments are made to the Quote or to your order.

 

SHIPPING

We want to make sure you are happy with the way your orders arrive, so we pack all items with extreme care to assure they arrive safely. Orders are either packaged in rigid envelopes, as parcels, in postal tubes or boxes depending on the item you have purchased. International buyers are responsible for any international custom/duties charges, taxes or fees. For any additional information about customs charges please refer to your local customs agency.

 

DEADLINES AND TIMEFRAMES

Please note that for Custom Stationery Orders such as invitations, a notable amount of time and care goes into your order. Please allow 3-4 weeks from the start of the proofing stage for your order to be completed. Urgent orders may require an additional loading fee. 3-4 weeks is an approximate time frame and may be affected by the speed at which proofs are approved.

Once we have begun your order, we expect to finish it in a timely manner and cannot ‘hold off’ on an order for a long period of time such as weeks or months. We expect that all details are ready to go when an order is placed and that we will move through the proofing stage to the printing stage in a timely manner. Orders that stretch past 8 weeks in duration will incur an additional fee for extended production time.

 

PLACING AN ORDER

An initial deposit is required when placing an order. Smaller orders will require full payment. Design, printing, production or any handmade details cannot proceed until this is received. The final balance is due upon completion of the final product. All goods must be paid in full prior to delivery. Please note that changes to your Quote or Order may result in additional costs. To avoid any changes in costs, please be as accurate as possible when asking for a Quote. In the event of a cancellation payments unfortunately cannot be refunded. Up to 3 Free Proofs are included as part of your order. Any further changes made to the design after 3 Proofs will incur additional artwork fees. Please note that these 3 free Proofs are strictly based on the original design brief. Any ideas, information, styles, elements and requests that were not previously mentioned in the original brief will incur an extra fee to cover the extended design time involved. We advise to have a specific idea in mind before commencing any custom work and communicating these ideas as clearly as possible to avoid any additional fees. Some items may include a small and an inconspicuous copyright symbol crediting Sail and Swan such as art prints, greeting cards and wedding invitations. If you request to have this copyright symbol removed, an additional fee may be incurred.

 

PRINTING

Changes to final quantities can only be accepted prior to printing. Please note that making changes to your order after the proofing process has begun may incur additional charges. Please check over your Proofs carefully as once your designs are approved we do not take responsibility for mistakes.

For orders where items are being ordered for a Wedding Reception (eg Seating Charts, Name Cards, Table Numbers, Menus etc) please provide this information no later than 4 weeks before your wedding day to guarantee completion of your order. Last minute orders may be turned away. Information provided less than 2 weeks from your wedding day may incur an Express Order fee.

 

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

All of the items available from Sail and Swan are made with care and high quality materials. Your happiness is very important so if you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason please contact us and we will do everything we can to make it right. We accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt in the incident that a product is faulty. In the event of a refund your money will be reimbursed minus the shipping costs. In some cases buyers will need to pay for shipping the item back. Items must be returned in their original condition and your funds will be refunded after receiving the returned items.

Please note that we do not offer returns for change of mind, or for custom made orders such as wedding stationery. Due to the nature of our work and the time involved in custom stationery, deposits cannot be refunded. Please remember that colours on your monitor may differ slightly from the actual item.

 

COPYRIGHT

The items you are purchasing on this website are exclusive to Sail and Swan. All Sail and Swan designs and the materials displayed on this website including all products, designs, photographs, illustrations and artworks are the property of Sail and Swan and are protected by copyright laws. This is applicable to custom artworks as well as existing designs. Sail and Swan may reserve the right to use elements of custom artworks for future designs. It is an offense to reproduce or modify any designs for any purpose without the prior written consent of Sail and Swan.

 

FEATURES AND PRESS

Some stationery may be featured online or in printed materials for promotional purposes. If you would prefer that your stationery does not get featured, please advise at the time of booking.

 

CLOSURE TIMES AND HOLIDAY PERIODS

Please note that at certain times of the year, Sail and Swan may be closed for short periods of time. If this is the case, we will provide prior notice on our website or update current customers personally via email. This may cause a short delay in our current orders so if you have any concerns with the timing of your order please advise us at the time of booking.

 

UNACCEPTABLE ORDERS

Sail and Swan reserve the right to reject an order if we cannot meet the deadline, if it goes against our values as a business, or if the customer shows unacceptable behaviour.

 

SECURITY

At the time of purchase you may be asked to supply personal information. From that time the connection between your web browser and our online shop will be protected using a security certificate. Please note that credit card numbers will not be stored on our website.
