Tropical Boho Wedding Photoshoot in Hawaii
This tropical boho wedding photoshoot in Hawaii brought together an incredible mixture of ideas, and dreamy romantic style.
Elegance meets the coast with some stunning wedding dress photos in the water, surrounded by rock pools and glimpses of the golden sunset. The wedding dresses feature striking flowy laced fabric, with floral and leafy motifs. The first dress is fitted at the top, and features lace right up to the bride’s collar bone for an elegant and high end look. Short sleeves finish the look, and the back of the dress is just as beautiful with incredible attention to detail in lace and buttons, bringing all the elements together. The bottom of the dress flows out into a gentle train.
The bride’s bouquet features an explosion of colour and celebrates the beauty of tropical flowers and plants. Colourful yellow frangipanis, red hibiscus, magenta bougainvillea and deep green monstera leaves make for a striking combination. The different textures and shapes of the florals create an interesting layered effect, and make for a visually interesting bouquet. The monstera leaves bring a touch of class and elegance to the bouquet.
The second dress is equally beautiful. In contrast to the first wedding gown, this one has a plunging neckline that comes together beautifully at the waist. Ivory shades of soft and delicate tulle are combined with stunning lace elements and make the dress look an artwork. While the top section is fitted, the bottom section is loose and flowy. The layers of fabric catch the wind and put on a beautiful display, with a romantic look and feel.
Another beautiful feature from the photoshoot is a stunning wooden surfboard. The natural brings a sense of warmth and elegance to the photoshoot, and was used as a creative prop for the table top styling. White shells and coral are mixed with natural tropical leaves such as palm leaves and monstera, tying the whole look together in a very natural way. Copper cutlery and goblets create another interesting texture, and warm romantic tone. All the dinnerware was inspired by the ocean, drawing on natural materials, ocean colours and patterns. The menus by Sail and Swan feature watercolour tropical leaves, in beautiful blue, green and turquoise hues. The look is finished with a romantic, loose and free calligraphy style.
The wedding invitations feature the same style, with tropical watercolour elements dancing around the edges of eh card. The tropical leaves include palms and monstera, as well as smaller foliage elements. More loose and relaxed calligraphy ties the look together. If you like this look, you can find these tropical wedding invitations on the Sail and Swan website here, and we are more than happy to customise the writing to suit the look and feel of your wedding day.
